Production Secretary, PA, Production Assistant
Hobart, Tasmania, Australia
I’ve been told that I have an extremely good work ethic and that I tend to adapt very easily to new surroundings and to working with new people. I have strong attention to detail especially regarding documentation and paperwork such as call sheets and other important production documents.
I have spent a lot of time over the past two years producing my own content from low budget TVC’s and online content videos, to music videos and short films. During this time I have worked with a number of different agencies and freelancers, and have started to build a network. I believe my roles in these productions, although smaller budget and scale, have been so important in grooming me for large scale productions and projecting me towards my goal of becoming a production manager/line producer and one day a producer on significant projects.
My producing background has enabled me to think logically and problem solve at a higher level. I believe that these skills and experiences will be perfectly translated into a production secretary or production assistant role on large productions.
I am currently based in Melbourne but will happily relocate to Hobart or Sydney temporarily for the right opportunity. I have accomodation in Hobart Tasmania if need be.

I have had a successful career in broadcast television and the broader media industry for over twenty-five years, both here in Australia and the U.K. where I have performed a number of roles on a variety of productions; series producer, senior producer, line producer, story producer, director, writer, cameraman, editor, sound recordist and floor manager. These positions have provided me with experience in a broad range of areas including creative development and production (often to tight deadlines), managing budgets and the supervision of corporate sponsor relations and other key stakeholders.
