Hi, I'm Douglas. I'm an experienced graphic designer based in Hobart.
In 2019 I worked in-house as the graphic designer on season 1 of The Gloaming, which was filmed in Tasmania and aired on STAN (distributed internationally by ABC Studios). I was also the graphic designer for Rosehaven Se04, for ABC television (Produced by Andy Walker and Fiona McConaghy (Latitude Films)).
I have extensive experience in preparing artwork for print and liaising with print suppliers and runners to meet tight shooting deadlines.
My experience working in advertising agencies has taught me to work fast and efficiently, while my experience as a freelancer has honed my creative skills. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tasmania and a Diploma of Graphic Design from TasTAFE. I work well in a team, and enjoy taking on constructive criticism from above. I'm highly organised and take pride in my file management and handling.
I'm highly competent with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Lightroom.
I'm always willing to travel and look forward to new challenges.
