I have over 17 years diverse experience in documentary production from solo producer shooter to working with large crews. In addition to cinematography and field producing, I have also worked in various positions from field logistic support, photography and sound recording. I am experienced in producing material for both web/multimedia/social and standard broadcast. I am an extreme environment specialist, from the tropics to the polar regions , with a solid guiding and expedition background (I am an accredited polar guide). I am used to working unsupported in remote areas, both topside and underwater.  Most of my work has been in natural history (BBC NHU, Nat Geo), science, various human documentaries (Nat Geo, Discovery,  ABC, SBS), conservation and educational programs. Specific recent camera experience includes remotely controlled cameras, stabilized systems and drones. Hello, I'm Mish, 27, non-binary (they) and fairly new to Hobart. I've lived and worked in Brisbane, Sarajevo, Zagreb and Pécs. Here's a little about me and my experience :  Currently majoring in Music Technology (BMus) at the UTAS Conservatorium. Recipient of the Conservatorium of Music 125th Anniversary Scholarship.  I've had over 5 wonderful years of film sound experience, recording, mixing and post-production work on documentary, and fiction shorts and features. I'd love to continue working in that vein. Happy and privileged to say my work has screened all over the world, and won multiple awards in such places as Cannes, Locarno, Torino, Mexico.  I excel at art installations, audiovisual work for theatre, musical and experimental applications of sound. I'm willing to work extremely hard to realise a special idea. I love the challenge.  I do the simple things well. I’m well versed in production life and workflow. These include:  - recording, mixing, mastering  - transcription and subtitling - audio repair  - sound design - ADR  - interviews, podcasts, sound effects, audio books Previously studied a Bachelor of Film in Sarajevo under the mentorship of Béla Tarr, Pedro Costa, Fred Kelemen, Nicole Brenez, James Benning, Lav Diaz and Tanja Vrvilo.
