Extremely practical, adaptable and creative. I have a very solid background in project management and am now keen to move into the arts sphere and particularly film, where I feel my skills and knowledge would be invaluable. I have an extensive knowledge of Tasmanian geography and heritage, and of the constraints and opportunities around working here, including a huge library of locations in my head. This knowledge was put to use in recent work as a Production Assistant for The Diver, Directed by Jamie Helmer and Michael Leonard. Of this, Jamie Helmer said: ‘Your contributions to the project were profoundly helpful and intrinsic to pulling the whole thing off’.
I am equally at home working in remote areas and urban or country settings, and have practical experience and knowledge of safety management systems. I have an even temperament and am great at rolling up my sleeves and getting done whatever needs doing, but I also have great critical thinking capabilities and am capable of complex visual and aural thinking, as well as 'logos' - words. I am a writer and photographer, and I have a decent command of French.
