I studied a Bachelor of Film, Screen and Media Production At Griffith University and quickly fell into Art Department rolls. I have a very extensive set of artistic skills, and can pick up new techniques very quickly. Since University, I have worked on short films creating sets, props and costumes from scratch on very limited budgets. I'm able to problem solve and find clever ways of creating things to the highest standard on a low budget because of this experience.
I was an in house Production Designer for all projects run by Humdrum comedy, who's works were aired on Virgin Australia.
I've worked for varies production houses in Queensland on commercial projects. I was valued by their teams as the 'prop wizard' as someone who could take the most outlandish briefs and turn it into a reality in a very tight turnaround. I'm constantly expanding my skills in my own time. Following courses online at Stan Winston School of Character Arts. I have a passion for sculpture, miniature modelling, prop creation, armour armour making and unique set design.
At Humdrum comedy, I was their all round Art Department Guru. I built sets, including a 1960s inspired house and a radio station interior and created custom props from their wild briefs.
With my time working on their projects I have created multiple faux animal limbs, banana's as hands, a wearable ballot box, plenty of gore and custom costumes.
I have my own collection of art supplies that allow me to create custom props for productions.
